Domaso is located in the northern part of the lake, on the western side.
Its position allows it to have a particularly favorable and mild climate, caressed by a constant breeze called Breva that has made possible to birth of numerous nautical centers with equipped sailing schools, windsurf and kitesurf centers; many other sports can however be practiced, as waterski, canoe, wakeboard. Then, in nearby mountains, there is possibility of beautiful trekking or mountain bike tours, while both in the lake and in the rivers is possible to fish.
Domaso is an ancient town of fishermen, that has conserved the characteristics of its history, joining to these a dynamic ability to open to the tourism, becoming the most friendly town of the Northern Lake, with modern and several equipments that made it it famous not only in Italy, but also abroad.
The country has a beautiful beach, sunny all day long, while in the historical center there are ancient houses, the church of San Bartolomeo, dated back to 1247 but restructured in baroque age, always open, and the Villa Camilla, today center of the town hall, with its park of camelias used for cultural manifestations and entertainments.
