The Fair of Bologna stretches on an area of 375.000 m², with indoor and external parts; the 18 pavilions and the 5 independent entrances allow the Fair to accommodate more than one manifestation at the same time.
In the Fair of Bologna take place different manifestations, the most importan are:
Cersaie, the international fair of the building industry,
Cosmoprof, international fair of cosmetic industry,
Arte Fiera, an international exhibition of contemporary art.
The most important and visited manifestation that takes place in the halls of the Fair of Bologna is surely the Motor Show: since 1976, in the first days of December, this is one of the most important exhibitions of cars and motorbike. The Motor Show is moreover unique in its kind: in the outdoor part of the Fair a real track is created, where champions like Michael Schumacher or Valentino Rossi run to entertain the public.
